The results for other clients will give you a clear idea of how the agency will approach your business as well.

3)      How do you measure success?
They must know how to measure the success of their SEO campaigns. They must be well versed with Google Analytics and should know about all the important metrics to keep a check on while measuring the success of your campaign.


4)      Do you give a report of all the activities conducted?
Your consultant should give you a detailed and monthly report of all the activities conducted throughout for your campaign. Also, they should regularly report you if they can make any changes to your website.
Ask them what all will be included in the monthly report and will it help in measuring success.
The above question might not help you distinguish between good and bad SEO, but it will give you an idea of what to expect from the company.


5)      What are your payment terms?
Well, you would agree this is the most important one. You need to know what and when exactly you need to pay so that you can plan your marketing budget accordingly. Also, you need to know whether the amount that you are going to pay is worth the efforts spent by the consultant. Also, if you feel there can be a delay from your end for payments, it is good to make it clear right at the beginning to avoid any confusion later.
